Create a Project Profile

The project profile is where you specify processing rules for the project. It also houses the associated Axcelerate Ingestion and Axcelerate Review & Analysis applications once they are created.

To create a project profile in your Axcelerate Cloud environment:

1. Navigate to the Projects page.

Tip: LaunchPad will allow multiple projects for the same client to have the same name and same Short Name, as each project is assigned a unique ID and Project Code. However, if a project with the same name already exists, it is recommended that you contact the project lead for guidance before proceeding.

2. Click Create Project Profile and input the basic project information:
   Client Name

   Select your client’s name from the drop-down list; use the type-ahead text box and then select. If you are creating a project for your own company, select your company name.

   Project Name

   Type in a name for the new project.

   Short Name

   Input a short name for the project, up to 15 characters in length. The Short Name combined with the Project ID becomes the workspace, application, engine, and URL names that are displayed within CORE Administration.

   Important: If you are creating applications that will be used as templates, the Short Name must be prefixed with: <client ID>_Template, for example, 11207_Template. An Administrator can optionally suffix the template application display name in CORE Administration, once the applications have been created.

   Hosting Data Center

   Select a data center to host the project.

   Available Pods

   Select a pod for the new project.

   Note: If a pod name is grayed out, the pod is not in an active state.

   Residency Requirement

   Select the Residency Requirement option appropriate for the project. If a restriction is applied, LaunchPad will allow only users that meet the residency requirements to be given access to the associated applications. This ensures data privacy and compliance with the U.S.-EU or U.S.-Swiss Safe Harbor Frameworks.

3.  Click Done.
4.  The Next Steps window displays. Do one of the following: 
   Select a Next Step

   Jump to your next task, for example, Add/Edit Details or Setup Project.

   Note: Add/Edit Details allows you to access all project profile settings, for example, Citizenship Restriction, and the client tracking and key personnel input forms. See the Add/Edit Project Profile Details topic for details.

   Click Done

   To return to the main Projects page.

   Create Project Profile Form
