Forgot Password Help
When a user created within LaunchPad forgets their password, there are several ways to assist:
- Provide the user with this URL: LaunchPad Password Reset
- The user is prompted to input their user name.
- LaunchPad auto-generates an email with a link to the Forgot Password page and sends it to the email address contained in the user's profile.
- The user changes their password on the Forgot Password page.


- Navigate to the Administration > Users page.
- Locate the user account and highlight it in the user list.
- Open the Task Box and select Reset Password.
- Select the preferred option:
- Send email with link to reset password
- Triggers LaunchPad to immediately generate a password reset email to the user via the email address saved in the user’s profile.
- Reset password now
- Allows you to manually reset the user’s password. Just input a new password and click Done, then provide the new password to the user.
Tip: The Reset password now option is recommended when a user, such as a contract attorney, is using a generic user account that is not linked to their own email address.
