User Account Active Status

When you create a user account, you decide whether the account will be active or inactive.

Active: Active is the default setting. Keep the check box selected and the user account is active immediately upon creation.
Inactive: Clear the Active check box and the account is inactive upon creation. This can be useful if, for instance, you are proactively creating user accounts, but the matter is not quite ready for access.
Note: When ready, you will need to open the user's profile and activate their account before they can log in.
