Converting documents before review begins will speed up review. It reduces the time between when a user selects a document for viewing and when the document actually displays. Documents must also be converted for bulk redaction and most productions.
Documents are converted automatically by the system when a user opens the Near Native view. Case Managers, however, have the option to bulk convert documents or define preconversion rules for automatic conversion.
The amount being paid for storage volume and the size of the project are the main deciding factors for which documents are converted.
Important: Before creating a document conversion job, coordinate with your CORE system administrator to ensure any necessary Native Conversion Settings are in place.
