Axcelerate 5 provides a range of custom security options. Some of these options can be set in the Axcelerate 5 front end by users with an Administrator or unrestricted All or Case Manager role; most are set by Administrators in CORE Administration.
The available custom security options for Axcelerate 5 are:
- Arrangement Security
- User groups can be restricted from seeing specific arrangements on the Axcelerate 5 Analysis and Review pages when arrangement security is added on the Axcelerate 5 Arrangements page.
- Field Security
- Fields can be made read-only when field security is added to an arrangement on the Axcelerate 5 Arrangements page.

- Document Security
- A user group can be completely restricted from accessing specific documents when document-level security is added in CORE Administration.
- A user group can be restricted from downloading native files and/or accessing certain document views for specific documents in Axcelerate 5 when application-level security is added in CORE Administration and the Apply Custom Security to Document field is tagged for those documents in Axcelerate 5.
Note: Document security is not currently available for applications created in opentext™ Axcelerate LaunchPad.
- Modification of Preconfigured User Rights
- The preconfigured rights for a user group can be modified using application-level security in CORE Administration. The following rights can be added or removed:
- Download native files
- Manage batches
- Bulk tag documents
- View associated documents outside of batch
- Manage rights of users to pull batches
- Add and modify field values on the Tagging and Foldering panels
- Manage fields via the Fields and Values page
- Manage arrangements
- Access document history
- Manage batching templates
Important: Modification of preconfigured user rights is not currently available for opentext™ Axcelerate LaunchPad users.
