Start and Stop Batch Review
Note: This topic applies to batch review, regardless of whether you open review batch on the Review page or using Review in Context.
Review batches (batches) are groups of documents broken out from a larger document set to a specific level of review (for example, First Pass Review, Privilege Review, etc.) using the Review State field.
There are several benefits to working in a review batch:
- Batches are checked out to individual users, allowing multiple users to conduct document review without overlapping work.
- The Review State field is automatically tagged when a user saves their review tags to a document. The system uses the Review State field to track that a document has been reviewed and for what purpose, that is, first pass review, privilege review, etc.
