How to Use the Online Help
You can use help information efficiently with the features described here. test
Use the right-hand menus to navigate between topics.
For information on a specific item, use the Search bar above each topic.
To return to a parent topic, click in the You are here line below the Search bar.
To return to the main page, click the OpenText logo on the upper left hand side of this page.
Note: Searches apply to the User Help and Case Manager Help.

You can search for a single term.
If you do not know the exact term, type only the first letters. Three letters are needed as a minimum.
Example: A search for
ham
will, for example, find ham or hamster or hamsters. A search forhamster
will, for example, find hamster or hamsters. -
Search is case-insensitive.
It does not matter whether you type in
Hamster
orhamster
. - You can search for numbers.
Example: If you type in
5
and search for it, all numbers containing 5 are found, for example, Axcelerate 5.7, or 2015.
- A phrase consists of several terms that you want to find in exactly this order. Phrases must be included in quotes. Phrase search is case-insensitive.
Example: To search for saved searches, type
"saved searches"
in the search bar.
- A phrase search also finds matching terms that only differ in their ending.
Example: If you type in
"the system delete"
, the system deletes is also found and highlighted.
- If you search for a phrase containing a hyphen, matching terms that are not linked with the hyphen are found, but not highlighted either.
- Phrase search results are not highlighted if the retrieved terms are linked with a hyphen.
However, the topic containing them is found.
Example: If you type in
"plug in"
, a topic containing plug-in is found, but plug-in is not highlighted. Only the exact match is highlighted. - If you search for a phrase containing a hyphen, matching terms that are not linked with the hyphen are found, but not highlighted.
- Removes highlighting shown after a search.
- Expands and collapses drop-downs in the topic text.
- Prints the topic.
