A universe is a set of documents segregated for a specific review effort. It allows users to create review batches and run Predictive Coding, and it provides the framework to efficiently manage and track the entire review process.
Each Axcelerate 5 matter contains an All Documents universe, populated by the system with all documents in the matter. This universe may be the only one needed; however, you can create a new universe that is more limited in scope.
Once the scope of a universe is defined, all steps taken to meet the review goals for the universe are recorded: samples, workflows, workflow searches, Predictive Coding iterations, and review batches.
