Matter Setup Considerations
Your first job as a Case Manager is to guide discussions with the project team and help them make decisions on Axcelerate Review & Analysis matter setup. Optimally, these discussions will help your team implement a basic template for new matters.
- Do any documents require OCR?
- What conversion settings will be used for Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word files?
- Do you want to separate email attachments from their parents to reduce storage size?
- What documents will be pre-converted and when should conversion take place?
- How many levels of review are required - responsiveness, privilege, confidentiality?
- What fields will be used for tagging and in which order should those fields appear in the tagging panels for each level of review?
- Which users will be allowed to review for each level of review?
- Will reviewers be allowed to pull review batches or will batches be assigned manually?
- Will tagging rules or quick tags be used for any level of review?
- What universe of documents will be reviewed; all documents or only a specific set?
- How will you identify the first set of documents for review? Will you start will a sample (recommended). Use analytics? Run keyword searches?
- How will documents be batched for review?
- Will Predictive Coding be run on user-identified responsive documents to suggest additional potentially relevant documents for review?
