OCR (Optical Character Recognition)

ClosedYou must have one of the following user roles to conduct these tasks:
  • CORE Administrator - to run OCR in CORE Administration or Axcelerate 5
  • Case Manager - to run OCR in Axcelerate 5

OCR extracts text from images. The extracted text then replaces the document’s indexed text, if any. It is most often used to extract text from image files that have no indexed text.
