Quick Tags and Review in Context
Review in Context helps you tag related document sets consistently. For this reason, when you select the Apply Same Tags option and then use a quick tag to tag an associated document group, the exact tags of the document you are currently viewing are first applied to the other group members and then the quick tag values are applied to all members of the group, including the document you are currently viewing.
Quick Tag values
- Relevancy = Relevant
- Affected 3rd Party = Jones
Current tags of documents
- Relevancy = Not Relevant
- Document Classification = Needs Further Review
- Affected 3rd Party = Rogers
- Relevancy = Not Relevant
- Document Classification = Null
- Affected 3rd Party = Wilson
Tags after Quick Tag is applied
- Relevancy = Relevant
- Document Classification = Needs Further Review
- Affected 3rd Party = Jones, Rogers
- Relevancy = Relevant
- Document Classification = Needs Further Review
- Affected 3rd Party = Jones, Rogers
The associated document inherited the Needs Further Review and Rogers tags from the document currently being viewed. Additionally, the Wilson value was removed as the document currently being viewed did not contain that value. The associated document then inherited the Relevant and Jones tags from the quick tag.
Additionally, when you work in Review in Context, there is no tri-state mode for quick tags. Instead, the Quick Tag fly-in is a non-editable form. Use one of these methods to apply a quick tag in Review in Context:
- Click on a quick tag number to apply the associated tagging combination and be auto-moved to the next document.
- Move your pointer over a quick tag number and then click Copy Tags in the Quick Tag fly-in to apply the quick tag. You remain on the current document where you can modify tags as needed in the Tagging panel before you save.
