Additional Information on Redactions
- Auto-save of redactions
- Redactions are automatically saved when you leave the
Review or
Analysis page, log out, or when a pre-defined
cache size (approximately five redacted documents) is reached.
- Redaction reason and color
- You can add a redaction reason, such as
Confidential or
Privileged, to any redaction and specify a
specific color for a redaction. Make these selections after selecting the desired redaction icon, but before creating the redaction.
- Transparency in Redaction view
- Redactions are transparent in Redaction view so you can view the obscured
part of a document without moving the redaction.
- Highlighting of text inside an applied redaction
- The text inside small redactions
is automatically highlighted. To
highlight the text inside large redactions, select the redaction and
click
, located to the right of the redaction
reason drop-down list.
- Production images and redactions
- Redactions are overlaid on a document. They can be added or removed at any time, and can be modified and produced differently in different productions. Changes made to redactions after a document is produced do not change the production images.
