You can combine the asterisk with Boolean Operators in order to influence the Results list ranking.
- Example:
Gardening OR * - Finds all documents, but scores are higher for documents containing Gardening.
* OR Gardeninghas the same result. - Example:
Gardening AND * - This would not be used, as the search result is exactly the same as for the search:
Gardening.
