Batch Creation
For each sample, search based set, saved set, or iteration set, you can specify the batch creation method.
There are different ways and times for batch creation:
- By default, the system creates batches automatically during set creation, using full or incremental batching.
- Incremental and full batch creation can be executed once, or scheduled for regular execution.
- You can manually initiate full and incremental batching, with the Create Batches wizard.
- Adaptive batching creates batches depending on review results. It is always automatic.
Automatic batch creation uses templates that you configure on the Templates page. Batching templates define the batching method, and scope and size of batches.
Manual batch creation allows you to either use templates or custom settings.
Note: To verify or change existing batch creation settings, click the respective node on the Review Workflows page and, from the actions menu, select Configure. The batch creation settings are shown when you expand the Batch Creation area.
A system message informs you about the start of batch creation. Users can continue other tasks while batches are being created. Case Managers can check batch creation results on the Assignments page.
