Native conversion is a special document conversion only used for Microsoft Office documents. With native conversion, users see a large number of Microsoft Office features in the Near Native and, consequently, in the Redaction view.
As native conversion uses the print to PDF functionality of their native applications, administrators can configure conversion results for Microsoft Office features and thus influence how documents are displayed in the Near Native view.
By default, these file types are converted with native conversion:
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Microsoft Word
