Create a Quick Tag
Note: If reviewers will apply quick tags while working in Review in Context, also see: Quick Tags and Review in Context.
To add a quick tag to a tagging arrangement:
- On the Administration > Arrangements page, in the Actions column, click (the edit quick tag defaults icon) for the desired arrangement.
- ClickAdd Quick Tag.
- The
Add Quick Tag pop-up displays the tagging arrangement in tri-state mode. Configure the pop-up with the desired combination of
tagging values.
Caution: There is no tri-state mode for text fields. If you input text in a text field, that text will replace any text that exists for a document. Additionally, if you are using an Axcelerate 5 version that is earlier than 5.9 and leave a quick tag’s text field empty, any text that exists for a document will be removed when the quick tag is applied and saved. For Axcelerate 5.9 and later versions, leaving a quick tag's text field empty results in any text that exists for a document to be left unchanged when the quick tag is applied and saved.
- Click Add and the new quick tag is displayed in the quick tag list.
The Include "Last" Quick Tag Default option is selected by default. This option activates the L and U quick tags. Clear the box to deactivate these quick tags.
Note: Once a quick tag is activated, it is available for use by anyone.
