Tagging Documents in Review in Context
The Review in Context Tagging panel allows you to tag documents one-by-one or in groups based on document relationship.
Note: In Review in Context, the term unreviewed means a document does not have a review state populated. For batch review, this is the target review state of the current batch. For review from the Analysis page, this is any review state.
- Tag one document
- To tag one document, click it, apply the appropriate tags in the Tagging panel and click Save or Save + Next.
- Tag duplicate documents
- If the current document has duplicates that also exist within the review set, the Tagging panel allows you to tag the current document and apply the same tags to any unreviewed duplicates in that set. To do so, apply the desired tags to the current document, select Apply same tags to all [x] unreviewed duplicates and click Save or Save + Next.
Note: Apply same tags to all [x] unreviewed duplicates is sticky for your current user session. If you select the check box, it remains selected for the next duplicate set. If you clear the check box, it remains cleared for the next duplicate set.
- Tag near duplicate documents
- There is not an option to apply the same tags to unreviewed near duplicates; however, you can copy tags from a previously tagged near duplicate to the current document you are viewing, as is explained in the next section.
- Copy tags from a reviewed duplicate or near duplicate
- If a document has duplicates or near duplicates that have been tagged with a review state, the Show reviewed duplicates / near duplicates
option displays in card view. Click the icon to open a list of those documents. The Tagging panel displays the tags applied to the document you are currently viewing in that list. You can optionally copy the tags from the current duplicate or near duplicate to the original viewed document. To do so, click Copy Tags. You are returned to the main document view. Click Save or Save + Next to save the copied tags. - Tag family or email thread documents
- If the current document has family or email thread members that also exist within the review set, after you view each of those documents a message in the Tagging panel allows you to tag the current document and apply the same tags to any unreviewed family or email thread members in that same review group.
Note: You are not required to review included emails as their content has been determined to be fully contained in the associated end of branch email.
- To move to the next document in a review group without tagging the current document, click View next.
- When all required documents have been viewed, apply tags to the current document, select Apply same tags to all other [x] unreviewed member(s) of the review group (the listed document count includes unreviewed included emails) and click Save or Save + Next.
Note: View next skips included emails as well as already viewed documents and documents that have a review state value. If you are working in a review batch, this is the review state value that matches the target review state of the batch.
