Production Slip-sheets

You can choose to produce configurable slip-sheets instead of document images.

Note: Production slip-sheets are different than and independent from conversion exception slip-sheets or removal slip-sheets.

Production slip-sheets are defined in the production rule configuration. The center pane of the page shows the preview of the slip-sheet. You can add different informational fields on the slip-sheet. The page is divided into fifteen rows. Each row can take one field. Fields can be aligned left, centered, or right.

You can select a template for the layout. This adds information fields as defined in the template. This is a one-time process of copying the settings of the template to the current slip-sheet. There is no permanent link between the slip-sheet and any template used to define it.

Use the Add item button to bring up the dialog to create informational fields to add to the slip-sheet. Added fields are listed below that button. From here, you can drag and drop them to the desired position on the page. You can also move fields from the page into this area to remove them from the slip-sheet and keep them for later use.

Tip: The stored fields are retained if you save a template. This is an easy way to provide a set of default fields from which users can choose when creating new slip-sheets.

Slip-sheet configuration

If the content of a field does not fit into one line, it wraps once. If the content does not fit into two lines, the remainder is replaced by an ellipsis.

Note: To see a full page preview of the slip-sheet, click on the Slip-sheet Details link in the Preview panel to the right.

Fields have an actions menu that provides these options:

Remove
This is available for fields that are placed on the slip-sheet. It moves them to the storage space below the Add item button.
Delete
For fields in the storage space, the menu shows this instead of the Remove option. Click the Delete menu entry to completely remove the informational field.
Edit
This opens a dialog that provides the same options as the Add Item dialog.
